Aerial photos of City of HopeAll grown up

A recent aerial view (right) gives a lofty perspective on how the facilities and grounds that make up City of Hope’s Duarte campus have changed significantly since the mid-1970s (left).

Steve Martin, vice president of marketing, and Stacy Kimmel, director of creative services, joined freelance photographer Chris Lovdahl as he circled several hundred feet above City of Hope in a helicopter on May 17. Their mission: To capture images showing the current state of campus grounds, buildings and surroundings from a bird’s-eye view. The images will support City of Hope’s marketing efforts to increase its national reach. (Photos courtesy of City of Hope Archives and Chris Lovdahl)
