PLANNING COMMITTEE FOR NATIONAL CANCER SURVIVORS DAY®
Preparations for National Cancer Survivors Day 2007 are under way and a Planning Committee is being formed. The first meeting of the Planning Committee at City of Hope is Tuesday, February 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Conference Room C. The group will meet three additional times on April 17, May 15 and May 29 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
The National Cancer Survivors Day event is a national day of celebration to honor the more than 9 million Americans dealing with any cancer diagnosis. Along with 700 other medical centers and health/support organizations, City of Hope will host this inspirational event on Sunday, June 3.
