Hands on Harps Upcoming Performance

City of Hope’s Department of Patient, Family & Community Education offers "Hands-on-Harps," an ongoing series of concerts and workshops to bring out the music in everyone.

On Tuesday, March 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in City of Hope Helford Clinical Research Hospital’s main lobby, Hands-on-Harps will feature Patrick Ball, premier Celtic harp player and storyteller. Described as "a rare artist," his instrumental and spoken word albums have won national awards. With his marvelous old tales of wit and enchantment, he not only carries on two of the richest traditions of Celtic culture, but also blends them in concert to create "a richly theatrical and hauntingly beautiful" performance.
