The City of Hope Difference reflects your priorities

"It is not enough."

That is a phrase I find myself saying, or thinking, frequently.

With your help, City of Hope is making great progress in learning more about cancer, using that knowledge to develop new treatments and bringing those treatments to bear to save lives.

But it is not enough.

I know - and all of us here know - that you want us to do more. To move faster. To make more breakthroughs. If you or someone you love is battling cancer, you want more, better, faster ... now.

And who can blame you?

There are many hospitals that provide fine patient care, and many research facilities doing important work on the frontiers of medicine. The City of Hope Difference comes from our unique vision to close the gap between science and care, and to do it more quickly, more efficiently and more safely than anyone ever has before.

Your generosity has helped turn that vision into reality. City of Hope has one of the best cancer hospitals in the nation. We have many of the top cancer researchers in the world. We have our own Center for Biomedicine and Genetics facility to manufacture therapies. We have a culture of cooperation that eliminates barriers between researchers and caregivers.

Best of all, we have you: you and people like you who give so generously to make the City of Hope Difference possible.

Thank you for your partnership and your support. And thank you for holding our feet to the fire. We know you want us to do even more to win the fight against cancer, and we are working to give you what you want.
