This is very good news: a powerful endorsement of City of Hope’s financial strength and good stewardship of the resources you entrust to us in the fight against cancer.

I hope it also reinforces your decision to stand with us as we help men, women and children who are battling cancer, and continue the search for cures. In all financial seasons, your compassion — demonstrated not only in your generosity, but also your faithfulness — is truly inspiring.

Because of your support over the years, City of Hope is not only one of the best cancer hospitals, but also a worldleading research center and one of America’s best charities.

I am confident that as 2009 progresses, I will continue to report good news made possible by your generosity. We remain committed to our seamless partnership of science and medicine, intellect and compassion.

We know you would not have it any other way.
