City of Hope Singers bring music to the fight against cancer

Photo of the City of Hope SingersFor 15 years, the City of Hope Singers have entertained patients and the community.
Since 1994, City of Hope employees, family and friends of patients, members of the community, and even patients have been coming together as the City of Hope Singers to help brighten the lives of people fighting cancer.

Founded by co-directors Mark and Glenda Hilliard, the City of Hope Singers practice once a week and give free concerts around our Duarte campus and in the surrounding community.

The City of Hope Singers have received many commendations and letters of thanks, including from members of Congress and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.  But the greatest satisfaction of all, they say, comes from knowing they are putting "the power of music" to work caring for adults and children fighting cancer.
