The 25th National Cancer Survivor Day observance here at City of Hope is a remarkable milestone — and the perfect occasion to say “thank you” for what we have achieved together.

Our pioneering research into cancer prevention, lifesaving treatment and compassionate care is made possible in large part because of the unfailing commitment that generous friends like you have made to City of Hope.

The wonderful success stories featured in this month’s newsletter from Michelle Gearhart-Pash and Dr. Stephen J. Forman show how far we have come. They also remind us that we still have much work to do. As more cancer patients become cancer survivors, we need to invest in developing programs — like our Center for Cancer Survivorship — to help this growing population with the unique challenges they might face in the years ahead.
