SAN DIEGO, June 10, 2009 — Albertsons, a leading grocery retailer across the U.S., presents its ninth annual golf outing to help raise awareness and support for City of Hope, a leading research and treatment center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Albertsons colleagues and City of Hope supporters will tee off at Morgan Run Golf Course located at 5690 Cancha de Golf in Rancho Santa Fe on Monday, June 15, at 9 a.m.
“Albertsons is proud to continue its support of City of Hope’s lifesaving cancer research and treatment programs,” said Alan Myers, store director, Albertsons. “This ninth annual golf outing demonstrates Albertson’s commitment to ensuring progress continues in the fight against cancer.”
