DUARTE, Calif., October 5, 2007 - Twenty-six City of Hope physicians are featured in the recently published 3rd edition of the book, “America’s Top Doctors for Cancer.” The book is a consumer guide to the nation’s top cancer specialists and includes profiles of more than 2,200 doctors throughout the U.S. in a total of 48 commonly consulted cancer specialties and subspecialties. Numerous City of Hope physicians have appeared in the first two editions of the book.
 
Doctors on the list were selected by their peers, their inclusion based on nationwide surveys of more than 30,000 physicians and hospital leaders at major medical centers, specialty hospitals and teaching hospitals; and professional association or group members. The book includes biographies of these doctors, information on identifying and accessing clinical trials, and descriptions of many of the nation’s leading cancer centers.
