Construction Industries Alliance

ABOUT THE CIA GROUP
In 1974, the Construction Industries Alliance (CIA) originated with a group of 10 dedicated individuals, and has grown over the years to include representatives from all areas of the homebuilding, construction and service industries.

To date, the group has raised nearly $17.5 million for City of Hope. These finds are of immeasurable importance ot assist City of Hope in its research and treatment of cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

ANNUAL CIA HONOREE TOUR

Every spring, the leaders of the CIA come together and descend upon the City of Hope campus for our annual industry campus tour. Guests hear firsthand from doctors, researchers and scientists about the lifesaving work currently taking place at City of Hope, as well as projects in the research pipeline.

Additionally, this event serves as the kick off to the 2015 CIA fundraising campaign as we acknowledge the industry philanthropic leader of the year - 2015 Construction Industries Alliance Spirit of Life Honoree Dan Young, President of the Irvine Company's Community Development Group. Mr. Young will be honored at the CIA Spirit of Life Gala  October 17 at the Hotel Irvine.

If you would like to learn more about City of Hope and schedule a private tour for your company, please contact Ken Birkett at kenbirkett@coh.org.

CIA PERSONAL GIVING CLUB

The Construction Industries Alliance Personal Gift Club Program was established by leaders in our
industry who wanted to establish a larger personal and/or family relationship with City of Hope and its
life saving work. Participation through an annual personal contribution provides a unique opportunity to support
City of Hope above and beyond our members’ corporate participation. Taking that extra step paves the
way for City of Hope to go the extra mile – and for that we thank you.

We at City of Hope would like to personally thank and publicly acknowledge our industry
friends who submitted a personal donation of $1,000 or more to City of Hope to the Construction
Industries Alliance Personal Gift Club Program for the 2014 campaign year.
