 Biography

Dr. Crocitto received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Davis and her medical degree from the University of Southern California. Her urology training was also completed at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. During her fellowship, she completed one year of clinical training under the direction of Donald G. Skinner, M.D., at USC/Norris Cancer Center and two years of basic laboratory research with Jerry Coetzee, Ph.D., at USC.

Dr. Crocitto spends time both in the clinic and the lab. Her research focuses on the development of new screening modalities for prostate cancer. As a full-time faculty member within the Department of Surgery, Dr. Crocitto coordinates research efforts for the department of urology, initially focusing on bladder and prostate cancer. In addition she will be assisting in the development of a multidisciplinary team approach for the management of prostate cancer patients.
