Dr. Gaal received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and went to medical school at the University of Califonria, Davis. He served in residency at Harbor-UCLA in Torrance, California and received a hematopathology fellowship at City of Hope. He has been a staff member of City of Hope since July, 2000.
