Anil Suresh, Ph.D., is a Staff Scientist in the lab of Jacob Berlin, Ph.D., Department of Molecular Medicine. His expertise lies in the synthesis of nanoparticles, surface functionalization and their use in various biomedical applications. He is particularly interested in developing nanoparticles for improved drug delivery and imaging systems. 

His previous work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory was focused on biofabrication of nanoparticles, and the interaction of engineered nanoparticles with various cell systems. This work involved careful characterization and toxicology studies.
