Robin Wesselschmidt, Director of Program Management, Center for Applied Technology Development, Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope: Robin Wesselschmidt has 25 years of experience building, managing and running scientific operations in commercial and academic settings, including her own company, Primogenix Inc. Well known in the field of stem cell science, she is an expert in developing and streamlining stem cell technologies, authored and co-authored numerous papers and book chapters, and is co-editor of two human pluripotent stem cell laboratory manuals. In her role as director of program management, Wesselschmidt oversees the execution of several multimillion dollar, multiyear projects aimed at developing human embryonic stem cell based therapies for the treatment of human diseases.
