CME Credits
City of Hope is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
City of Hope designates this educational activity for a maximum of 95.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Registered Nurses: Nurses may report up to 95 credit hours toward the continuing education requirements for license renewal by their state Board of Registered Nurses (BRN). CME may be noted on the license renewal application in lieu of a BRN provider number.
Physician’s Assistants: The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants states that AMA accredited Category 1 courses are acceptable for CME requirements for recertification.
Genetic Counselor CEUs: The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized the City of Hope to offer up to 9.5 CEUs or 95.0 Contact Hours (Category 1) for the Intensive Course in Cancer Risk Assessment. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of certification and recertification.
