Community Cancer Genetics
and Research Training
Once the exclusive domain of academic health centers, clinical cancer genetics services are increasingly being delivered in community settings. The Cancer Genetics Education Program of the Division of Clinical Cancer Genetics at City of Hope offers a CME/CEU-accredited multi-modal intensive course to address the need for professional training in clinical cancer genetics and research collaboration for community-based clinicians.

Course Information
City of Hope's Intensive Course in Cancer Risk Assessment is flexible to accommodate the needs of participants with varied training backgrounds and practice settings. Coursework includes multidisciplinary didactics, interactive case conferencing, molecular genetics wet-lab and training in the use of informatics resources.

- Master’s or Ph.D. Genetics or Oncology Advanced Practice Nurses

Accreditation
No partial credit will be given. Participants should claim only those hours of credit that they actually spent at the educational activity.
