Web Conference Orientation: Friday, December 9, 2011, from 8-11 a.m. PST

Phase 1:  10 Weeks Distance Learning through March 2, 2012*

  • 10 Weeks Distance Didactic Modules with weekly Web-based discussion sessions (Fridays, 8-10 a.m. PST)
  • Working Group Case Conferences (Live or Recorded) (Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m. PST)

Phase 2:  March 5 - March 9, 2012 (5 days)

  • Face-to-face Cancer Genetics Workshops on the City of Hope campus in Duarte, California

Phase 3:  Post-conference Work (1 year)

  • 12 Months continued professional development, clinical & research collaboration support via Web Conference & discussion board activities
*Phase 1 course work averages to 3-4 self-directed modules per week (each about 1 hour long), with required weekly 2-hour Friday Web conference and five 2-hour Working Group Case Conference Sessions to complete during the Distance Learning segment of the course. Note: Phase 1 dates encompass a 2-week Holiday Season break.
