Dave, a robust man with a robust and generous heart, loved life and lived it to its fullest. Unfortunately, his heart ceased one day in the Spring of 1995, leaving a void in the lives of his family and his many cherished friends. Even though he knew that he was in failing health, he never wavered from giving of himself to his friends, charities and business associates.
Dave was truly gifted. He was an avid fisherman, pilot, innovative entrepreneur and a valued executive with Southern California's Panelized Structures, Inc.
As fundraising was also one of his fortes, Dave devoted tireless energy towards the fulfillment of City of Hope’s mission -- it was more than difficult to say no to Dave. He was a leader and a founding member of the original City of Hope Golf Classic, the predecessor to today’s golf classic bearing his name.
Because of the dedication and vision by people like Dave, City of Hope is able to continue its breakthrough research, providing life-saving treatments to thousands of patients from around the world afflicted with devastating cancer, diabetes and other diseases.
We sincerely hope that, like Dave, you can stand up as a partner and as a generous contributor towards providing renewed life to all of those in need of hope and healing.
