 Kona Ironman's Team Hope

My body, their spirit, our fight!

All Proceeds Benefited the Tim Nesvig Lymphoma Fellowship and Research Fund

On October 13th, 2007, at 7 a.m., I set forth across the legendary surf and wind-swept lava fields of Hawaii’s Big Island, joining 1,800 athletes in the Ironman Triathlon World Championship.

What is the Ironman Triathlon World Championship?

A 140.6 mile journey consisting of a:

 All in one day!

This race was an extraordinary test, challenging me to reach beyond my mental and physical limits.

That is why we created a special race team to power me along this amazing journey.

I am proud, humbled and honored to have raced for TEAM HOPE.

  • TEAM HOPE is my way of honoring the courage of my friend Tim Nesvig, whose bravery in his fight against cancer was the inspiration that drove me to continue to carry his message of HOPE.
  • TEAM HOPE is fueled by the collective strength of all of those who have lost their battle and all of those who fight today.

Thank you for your support!
