Photo from Tri-Avaganza"Surf, water ski and snow ski/board all in one day? That's crazy. It can't be done," they said. Well, on the first day of spring in 1983 a group of individuals gathered their might and proved them wrong.

Why do this?
Because WE CAN!
And, to support City of Hope's efforts to end cancer and other life threatening diseases.

How did last year's Tri-Avaganza go?
The 29th Annual Tri-Avaganza logoTri-Avaganza 2011 started with a beautiful Malibu Surf Rider sunrise and a 1-2 swell. From our sheltered, sunny cove we then trekked up to Lake Castaic. It was pretty nice on the lake this year since we remembered to buy dry suits from the frigid year before. Then we got up to the top of Mountain High and enjoyed fabulous snow skiing/boarding. From the top peak, at 7800 ft above sea level, we enjoyed a brisk evening snow flurry as a cloud engulfed the mountain. The evening ended with a hearty meal and warm beverages. Thanks to our sponsors At-The-Helm-Marine and Mountain High Resort for their loyal support!
