In 1983, a group of corporate leaders banded together to form the National Office Products Council, an alliance of industry executives dedicated to supporting City of Hope.

Since its founding, the annual office products industry fundraising campaign has raised $94 million through its annual fundraising campaigns that include employee giving drives, company hosted events as well as product and customer promotions.

The 2012 Building Hope campaign honoring Scott Light, President, Georgia-Pacific has already raised $1 million. Scott will be presented with the Spirit of Life award on October 17, 2012 at the Chicago Hilton Hotel.
