 Our Honoree

Jay Mutschler is the Senior Vice President, Contracts of Staples. He has held this position since July 2008.

Before joining Staples, Jay spent 7 years with Corporate Express where he served as President of U.S. Operations.

With over 29 years experience in the Office Products Industry, Jay served as the President of U.S. Office Products in Washington D.C. as well as Executive Vice President for Office Depot in Del Ray Beach, FL. Jay spent 12 years with Eastman; a Long Beach, CA based Office Products Company where he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager. Early in his career, he served as a Training & Development Manager for New England Trading Company, a Natick, MA based company.

Jay currently serves on the boards of Junior Achievement and Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry (CACI). Jay has also served on the board of Option One, a Medical Supply Company in southern California. Jay is an active supporter and participant in the local chapter of the American Heart Association.
