City of Hope’s Inland Empire Chapter

Photo of Gary Ovitt, left, and Steve PonTell On May 3, 2009, City of Hope’s Inland Empire Chapter held a special dinner at the home of Steve and Michelle PonTell in Ontario. The event was held on the birthday of both Steve PonTell and Supervisor Gary Ovitt, who used their birthday as a time to introduce and celebrate City of Hope. Matt Loscalzo, administrative Director of the Sheri and Les Biller Patient and Family Resource Center at City of Hope, was the event speaker.

The Inland Empire Chapter hosts semi-annual events where members have an opportunity to hear world-renowned researchers and other key City of Hope professionals speak about the latest research, clinical trials and care offered at City of Hope.
