The Midwest Insurance Committee was founded in the summer of 2010 as an offshoot of the National Insurance Industry Council for City of Hope, which raises funds for City of Hope pioneering research in cancer, diabetes and HIV/AIDS. In addition to orchestrating fundraising initiatives, the Committee has also undertaken the task of creating a sense of awareness for City of Hope and its mission among Midwest industry associates, thereby generating visibility for City of Hope in area.
The Midwest Committee of the National Insurance Industry Council’s mission is to support City of Hope’s innovative research and treatment programs while having fun and creating a networking base that provides opportunities for industry executives to meet one another and build an industry community in the Midwest.
The Committee has actively recruited professionals in all industry related disciplines, as well as those that support the industry as clients, vendors and service providers.
