Thousands of Country music fans joined together for the 19th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge, helping to raise awareness about City of Hope’s life-saving mission and to kick-off the 2009 CMA Music Festival.
Through 2008, the Celebrity Softball Challenge has raised over $1.5 million, with all proceeds benefiting City of Hope. (Totals from the 2009 event coming soon.)
Celebrity participants this year included Carrie Underwood, Chuck Wicks, Darius Rucker, Jake Owen, Josh Turner, Julianne Hough, Luke Bryan, Randy Houser, members of the Tennessee Titans and many more.
