I will be participating in the 11th Annual Hike 4 Hope, a family-oriented, non-competitive hiking event to support women's cancer research at City of Hope on March 1, 2009 in the beautiful Indian Canyons of Palm Springs.

Did you know more than 250,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each year? This means 250,000 mothers, daughters and friends - and their loved ones - will be affected by this terrible disease.

City of Hope’s research has led to the development of Herceptin® and Rituxan®, two of the leading anti-cancer drugs. New cutting edge technology like TomoTherapy HI-ART System represents the next generation of treatment. Grape seed extract, mushrooms and blueberries also hold promise in breast cancer research at City of Hope. City of Hope’s research is shared with medical centers worldwide, improving the lives of millions. OUR LOCAL HOSPITALS ARE ALL USING TREATMENTS DEVELOPED BY CITY OF HOPE!
