Hope on the Hudson, the Thomson Reuters fifth annual women’s event benefiting women's cancer research at City of Hope took place on August 13 in New York City at the Golf Club at Chelsea Piers, overlooking the Hudson River.
This year’s event was a huge success! Thanks to the very generous contributions of our sponsors, along with so many wonderful donations from the attendees, we raised nearly $100,000 for City of Hope. Through the annual Thomson Reuters women’s event these last five years, we have raised an incredible grand total of $600,000 for City of Hope and research for cancers afflicting women.
On behalf of City of Hope, Thomson Reuters, the Women @ Thomson Reuters network and co-hostesses Debra Walton and Nancy Gardner (respectively, Global Head of Market Development and Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Thomson Reuters), thank you for so kindly supporting Hope on the Hudson. We are especially touched by the generosity of our many sponsors whose partnerships we deeply value and who helped make this event such a success.
For our clients, partners and friends who were able to join us for Hope on the Hudson, we hope you enjoyed the many networking opportunities and had a great time either working on your golf swing at the driving range, testing out your new putting skills or perhaps trying your hand at one of the world’s top courses at the virtual simulators!
