 Yoga for Hope

Yogo for Hope logoYoga for Hope is an event for yoga beginners and experts alike and was born out of City of Hope's efforts to expand awareness of the importance of the mind-body-spirit connection and the hospital's unique approach to utilizing complimentary and integrative therapies such as yoga and meditation in the patient treatment programs. Participants are treated to a morning of health and wellness with the true gift being a master yoga class taught by four of San Diego's premier yoga instructors: Michael Fukumura, Stacy McCarthy, Bonnie Saldivar-Jones and Claire Petretti.

This past March celebrated the inaugural Yoga for Hope event for San Diego. The event exceeded every expectation, receiving unbelievable media attention, sold out weeks before the actual event date (500 yoga participants!) and raised over $80,000…not bad for a first time event. It quickly has become Southern California's largest charity yoga event and we are on target to double, possibly triple, our numbers in 2012.

Join us on August 4th to experience where the Power of Hope meets the Power of Yoga!
