The main entrance to City of Hope located at the intersection of Duarte Road at Hope Drive, will be closed to thru-traffic on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Crews will install new traffic signals on Duarte Road at Hope Drive. During this work, Duarte Road will be closed to thru-traffic at Hope Drive for one day to install underground conduit in preparation for the traffic signal installation. Once completed, this will become a three-way signalized intersection. This work is being performed as part of the 11.5-mile Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension light rail project.
Access to City of Hope will be available from:
Buena Vista Street
Village Road at Duarte Road
East Drive at Duarte Road
Security officers will be present at Village Road and Duarte Road to assist patients and visitors to campus during the road closure.
