"City of Hope has a long-standing commitment to caring for the entire person, as reflected in its credo: ‘There is no profit in curing the body, if in the process, we destroy the soul.' It’s what makes City of Hope unique and what makes it the right place for this kind of center."

The Sheri & Les Biller Patient and Family Resource Center embodies the heart and soul of City of Hope’s mission to care for the whole person.
City of Hope opened the new Biller Patient and Family Resource Center facility in summer 2008 and strives to make it an international model of compassionate care. Led by multidisciplinary teams of professionals and volunteers, it offers the most integrated array of support services in the country, from psychological to palliative.
Here you will find patient navigators, pain and palliative care physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, spiritual care chaplains, healing arts workshops, peer support groups, health information, complementary medicine, nutrition education and much more. Staff members work one on one and in groups with patients and their loved ones, focusing on strengths, resilience and hope.
Sustained by compassion and support, the Biller Patient and Family Resource Center stands as the center of hope for those who need it most.
The Biller Patient and Family Resource Center is made possible through generous donations, including a lead gift from the Sheri & Les Biller Family Foundation in 2006, as well as an ongoing matching gift from the foundation in 2008.
