In this section you will find many of the answers you seek about insurance.  In addition, our new patient counselors are available to address any general questions.

For questions related to your specific coverage, please contact your insurance provider directly. You can find that phone number on your insurance card or benefits book.

Is My Insurance Accepted?
View a list of insurance companies with which City of Hope currently contracts. Even if your plan is included, check with your insurance company to make sure you are covered. Your insurance company/medical group will tell you if you need any authorizations.
Insurance Inquiries
We welcome any and all general insurance questions. For all managed care inquiries, please contact the Managed Care Department directly by e-mail at sdesbiens@coh.org or by calling 626-256-HOPE (4673), ext. 68650.

For inquiries regarding specific insurance benefits or medical coverage please use the phone number on your insurance card or benefits book to call your managed care organization or insurance company directly.

Billing Inquiries
For questions about a bill from City of Hope Medical Center (to cover treatments and services), please call patient business services at 800-270-HOPE (4673).

For questions about a bill from City of Hope Medical Foundation (to cover physician/professional services), please call the Medical Foundation at 626-775-3200
