Patient Meal Services
To nourish both body and spirit, City of Hope offers patients “At Your Request” (AYR), an in-room meal program that puts you in control of when and what you eat. Simply place your meal and snack orders at any time between 6 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and expect your delivery within 45 minutes. Meals may even be ordered in advance.
We are happy to assist patients and family members in selecting menu items that are appropriate for the patients’ diet requirements. All patients will receive their own AYR Room Service Menu for use throughout the day.
Family members and visitors are encouraged to have meals with patients. Guest Meal tray tickets may be purchased at the Guest Services Desk or through the AYR Room Service Menu. Your meal ticket will be collected at the time of delivery.

Le Bistro
Located on the first floor of Helford Hospital, the Bistro is an ideal place to sit and unwind, while enjoying everything from gourmet salads, panini sandwiches and pizza, to latte’s and soft drinks. Open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Corner Café
Conveniently located in the Geri and Richard Brawerman Ambulatory Care Center, the Corner Café serves a wide assortment of beverages, quick snacks or tasty salads and sandwiches. Open every day from 7 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Fountain Cart
Located near the fountain entrance to the Medical Center, the Fountain Cart serves hot and cold coffee drinks, other beverages, snacks and pastries. Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Crossroads Café
The Crossroads Café, located south of Brawerman and southest of Helford Hospital, is open to the public and serves a variety of delicious hot entrees, sandwiches, salads, snacks and beverages every weekday from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Heart-healthy items are featured daily. The Café’s weekday service schedule is as follows:
- Sedona Grill: Breakfast, grilled sandwiches and burgers from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The Copper Pot: Soups and chili from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Fresh Inspiration: Salad bar and specialty salads from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- La Vincita: Pizza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sage Deli: Made to order deli sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Café Fresca: Ready-to-go specialty salads from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Charleston Market: Hot entrees from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner entrees are cooked to order from 2:30 pm to 6:30 p.m.
Vending Machines
Vending machines with snacks and beverages are available at the following locations:
- Near the elevator on the first floor of the Brawerman Center
- Outside the entrance to the Crossroads Cafeteria
- In the outdoor courtyard by the Gift Shop
- Inside the Ambulance entrance to Main Medical
- In the Hope and Parsons Village
The staff at the Guest Services Desk will be happy to direct you to the vending machines.
