Patient Meal Services
To nourish both body and spirit, City of Hope offers patients “At Your Request” (AYR), an in-room meal program that puts you in control of when and what you eat. Simply place your meal and snack orders at any time between 6 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. and expect your delivery within 45 minutes - 1 Hour. Meals may even be ordered in advance.
We are happy to assist patients and family members in selecting menu items that are appropriate for the patients’ diet requirements. All patients will receive their own AYR Room Service Menu for use throughout the day.
Family members and visitors are encouraged to have meals with patients. Guest Meal tray tickets may be purchased for $7.00 at the Guest Services Desk or through the AYR Room Service Menu. Your meal ticket will be collected at the time of delivery.

Le Bistro
Located on the first floor of Helford Hospital, the Bistro is an ideal place to sit and unwind, while enjoying everything from gourmet salads, panini sandwiches and pizza, to latte’s and soft drinks. Open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Brawerman Coffee Cart
Conveniently located in the Geri and Richard Brawerman Ambulatory Care Center, the coffee cart serves a wide assortment of beverages, quick snacks or tasty salads and sandwiches. Open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Crossroads Café
The Crossroads Café, located south of Brawerman and southeast of Helford Hospital, is open to the public and serves a variety of delicious fresh hot entrees, handmade sandwiches, fresh tossed salads, has a full service grill, snacks and beverages. Heart-healthy items are featured daily. The café is open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Java and Juice
Java and Juice, Located on the first floor of the Beckman building. The Java and Juice offers a selection of gourmet sandwiches, gourmet Salads, specialty drinks, yogurt bar, Starbucks specialty drinks, tazo ice teas, freshly squeezed juice and delicious freshly baked pastries. Java and juice is open Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
MAC STG
The Simply to Gocafé is located on the first floor of the MAC bldg. open on weekdays from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
