Mission and Purpose
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Women's Council of San Diego County to seek financial support for the medical research and patient care programs at City of Hope Cancer Center and to facilitate public awareness of City of Hope within a broad range of individuals and organizations.
Purpose
The purposes of the Women's Council of San Diego County for the City of Hope, which shall be exclusively charitable and will operate within the purview of the pertinent Sections of the Internal Revenue Service code of 1954, as amended are:

A. To develop new avenues and enhance existing avenues of revenue for City of Hope Cancer Center through fund-raising events, cause-related marketing programs, community partnerships, etc. |

B. To effectively communicate and actively support the progress of all fundraising efforts of the Council and other City of Hope volunteer groups. |
|
C. To gather 'up to date' information related to the research and patient care at City of Hope and to dispense that information to a broad range of individuals and organizations to facilitate public awareness of City of Hope in San Diego County. |

D. To maintain, promote and encourage the fellowship exemplified by members of the Women's Council and to bring members of the Women's Council together in support of City of Hope. |
