If you are a first time user of our facility, we do ask you to set up a 20-minute training session with us prior to your first sample submission to set up a new account and familiarize you with our online service. DNA samples are submitted purified using commercially available kits and checked for impurities, contamination and concentration.
We encourage you to run your samples (uncut) on an agarose gel to confirm purity before submission.
- For plasmid DNA, we request 200 ng of total DNA sample at a concentration of 100 ng/ul.
- For BAC clones we request between 3-5 ug of DNA total at a concentration of 1 ug/ul.

Custom primers at a concentration of 1 picomole/ul are supplied by the user. General sequencing primers are available in the lab. Other information on the size of the insert, PCR product and vector is required.
