The Synthetic and Biopolymer Chemistry Core facility includes a new organic synthesis lab, located in the renovated Flower Building, which is less than five minutes from the main City of Hope campus, occupying approximately 1,000 square feet of lab space. All major instrumentation (e.g., NMR, MS, UV, & IR) for small molecule structural characterization is housed in the organic synthesis laboratory in the Flower Building, thus allowing for the efficient execution and daily operation of reaction chemistry, purification, and structural characterization.
