 Abstract for Grants

The Division of Biostatistics houses faculty and staff statisticians.  It also operates a data entry facility for research projects.  The Division of Biostatistics was the first of what are now three departments in the Department of Information Sciences, the others being the Division of Biomedical Informatics and the Division of Clinical Research Information Management.

Major activities include collaborations in clinical, laboratory, and epidemiological research; development of statistical methodologies; and teaching in the City of Hope Graduate School of Biological Sciences and in the Clinical Fellows Training Program.

  • Analytic plan development
  • Database design and programming
  • Statistical analysis and programming
  • Manuscript preparation
  • Grant preparation
  • Development of statistical methodology
  • Training in biostatistics

The Division of Biostatistics is located in the Information Sciences Bldg. (Bldg. #171).
