The Data Repository Umbrella Protocol makes some patient stored patient data available for restrospective research, as an alternative to chart review.

IRB approval of an Application for Use of the Data Repository Umbrella Protocol is required before data can be released.  Investigators should contact the department of Biostatistics to define the set of patients to be studied before submitting the form.  Once established, the patient list will be stored internally, indexed by the retrospective protocol number. Ordinarily, the released dataset will be de-identified as defined in HIPPA regulations.
