The SC-IC represents an integrated effort of multiple academic and transplant institutions in Southern California that have merged resources and efforts to support joint research aimed at advancing islet transplantation for the treatment of diabetes. The SC-IC was established and is led by City of Hope in Duarte, CA, and includes participation from other leading transplant programs throughout Southern California.
