For over 50 years, the Seattle Chapter has grown from 67 members to 650, dedicating their time and talents to raise funds and awareness for the battle against life-threatening diseases. The Seattle Chapter continues to meet on the second Wednesday of each month and supports City of Hope through the Second Hand Rose Thrift Store and various other fundraising projects. You can support City of Hope by donating your gently used clothes and household items to Second Hand Rose Thrift Store, run by the Seattle Chapter. Chartered in 2001, the Circle of Hope Chapter's signature annual event is a casino-style event with blackjack, roulette, craps and texas hold 'em, followed by a silent auction, with proceeds going to City of Hope. The Survivor Chapter was started in the Portland, OR, area in 2003 by several former City of Hope patients. The goals of the chapter are to increase awareness about City of Hope in the Portland area, support each other in the battles against disease and raise funds for City of Hope.
