Alexander S. Jung, M.D., is a radiologist in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at City of Hope. Dr. Jung received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, and obtained his medical doctorate from University of California, San Diego. He completed an internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and a diagnostic radiology residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. While at Cedars-Sinai, he was the recipient of the Leo G. Rigler Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement from the Department of Radiology, and was chosen to be the Chief Resident in the department. Dr. Jung is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. Prior to joining City of Hope, Dr. Jung was assistant clinical professor in the Department of Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He is a member of numerous medical societies, and received a training grant from the NIH while in medical school at UCSD. He is also a current investigator on a grant from the National Institutes of Health, focused on high contrast ultrasound imaging. Dr. Jung is also a specialist in body imaging.
