For the second year, Santa Anita Park will run a Grade 2 Stakes Race, the City of Hope Mile , in honor of the leading cancer research and treatment center. The 2014 race will be Saturday, Oct., 4. Formerly named the Arroyo Seco Mile, this year's event will mark the 29th running of the race; it was first run at Santa Anita in 1986.
