Long-time National Business Products Industry member AVERY held their 2016 Supplier Summit and Golf Outing benefiting City of Hope February in Irvine, California. More than 120 people from AVERY’s supplier and retailer community attended the 2-day event and helped raise money for cancer research and treatment at City of Hope. “City of Hope has been a part of AVERY’s DNA for decades,” explained Jim Sellors, AVERY Products President – North America.  “The Summit and Golf Outing was a tremendous opportunity for us to connect with our supplier community and make time for fellowship with vital business partners while benefiting an amazing organization like City of Hope,” stated Sellors.

Day one of the event concluded with dinner at the Hotel Irvine and included inspirational words from City of Hope’s Dr. Larry Kwak, director of developmental therapeutics and translational research and Vicky Fisher, City of Hope patient and cancer survivor.

The award-winning Tom Fazio designed Oak Creek Golf Club played host to the AVERY Charity Golf event, the following day. “We had some substantial rain hit us before tee time, but the clouds parted for blue skies as our golfers took to their carts,” explained Sellors.  “A beautiful round of golf put the finishing touches on a great two days for us all,” said Sellors.
