On Nov. 22, Jack and Jason Rimokh, chairman and president of Signal Brands, were honored by City of Hope's Fashion & Retail Group with The Spirit of Life® Award, the institution's highest philanthropic honor. Their impact, though, will be felt through the end of the year, as they partner with Guess Inc. to donate $1 for every Guess handbag sold in the U.S. and Canada through Dec. 31. The donations, to a maximum of $130,000, will benefit cancer research at City of Hope.

"We are proud to partner with our colleagues in the apparel industry and support the remarkable research at City of Hope,' said Jack Rimokh.

The Fashion & Retail Group (formerly Apparel Industries Group) was created in 1995 with the merger of two of City of Hope's oldest and most dedicated auxiliaries - the Merchants Club and Professions and Finance Associates. This joined leaders from all facets of the apparel industry who are committed to supporting the vital and lifesaving work at City of Hope. The Fashion & Retail Group has raised more than $40 million for the institution.
