Arthur Riggs Diabetes and Metabolism Research Institute Summer Research Program
The Arthur Riggs Diabetes and Metabolism Research Institute Summer Research Program provides high school and undergraduate students research exposure in the field of diabetes and metabolism.  All students are provided with opportunity for bench-work, lectureship and participation in a poster session.

Eugene and Ruth Roberts Summer Student Academy
College students and exceptional high school students enjoy hands on research experience at the Eugene and Ruth Roberts Summer Student Academy. Participants choose their own biomedical research project based on their interests, work closely with mentors and peers, and gain invaluable skills that help prepare them for graduate and postdoctoral research. Students may also apply for the National Cancer Institute CURE program for underrepresented students or the CIRM SPARK Awards program for high school students. The Pomona College Summer Research Scholars Program provides students with a unique combination of laboratory, academic and professional skill development, designed to facilitate success in biomedicine.

Science Day

This event is specifically targeted for doctoral students in the life and biomedical sciences who have an interest in postdoctoral fellowship opportunities at City of Hope.
 
It is also an opportunity for current postdoctoral fellows, university faculty and career center staff to visit Beckman Research Institute, tour the City of Hope campus, attend a poster session and scientific presentations.
