Comprehensive Cancer Center expands access to top-level cancer care within Arcadia community
DUARTE, Calif. — City of Hope is expanding access to its high-level cancer care with the opening of a new clinic in Arcadia. The clinic, located next to Methodist Hospital of Southern California, will increase the availability of City of Hope’s renowned cancer specialists within the Arcadia community and will provide additional convenience for patients seeking general oncologic surgery and medical oncology services.
“Expanding our clinical presence into the community allows City of Hope to offer access to quality oncology care to more patients in need,” said Harlan Levine, chief executive of City of Hope Medical Foundation. “Given the new clinic’s proximity to our main campus, it allows for a close integration of care with our sub-specialists in a setting that is convenient for patients.”
The 3,000-square-foot facility is equipped with seven exam rooms, two of which can be used for minor procedures, including urologic procedures for prostate cancer.
“City of Hope is proud to extend our services even more directly and conveniently to patients in the Arcadia area,” said Vijay Trisal, M.D., medical director of community practices for the City of Hope Medical Foundation. “This new clinic will widen patients’ ability to obtain City of Hope’s comprehensive services and leading-edge treatment.”
The Arcadia clinic is the most recent addition to City of Hope’s growing list of community practices, all of which extend the institution’s reach by bringing premier care to patients in their own communities. The institution recently opened a state-of-the-art clinic in Antelope Valley and has practices in Palm Springs, Pasadena, South Pasadena, Mission Hills and Santa Clarita.
City of Hope | Arcadia is located at 301 W. Huntington Drive, Suite 400, next to City of Hope’s new radiation oncology service, acquired from Methodist Hospital of Southern California.
