And after making history, Espinoza made a generous gift, donating his entire winner’s purse to cancer research at City of Hope.
“Good health — that’s what I want for everyone. With good health, people can enjoy life and do those things that make them happy,” Espinoza has said. “By working to defeat cancer, City of Hope’s researchers and doctors are bringing a greater chance of health and happiness to people everywhere.”

“Victor’s support and generosity have been a tremendous gift to City of Hope,” said President and CEO Robert Stone. “More important, his personal commitment and involvement have made a real difference in the lives of our patients, particularly our pediatric patients.”
