All personnel participating in human subject research are required to first complete the training requirements as set forth in the Institutional Policy on “Human Subjects Protection, GCP & HIPAA Research Training Requirements.”
Renewal is required every three years and it is the responsibility of the research staff to maintain current training. Failure to comply with and maintain training requirements will result in an individual’s inability to participate in human subject research studies, as well as administrative action including removal from the study pending completion of the outstanding training, possible temporary closure of the study, and/or a possible delay in the approval of a submission.
