Accreditation Statement: IN PROCESS

Credit Designation: City of Hope designates this Intensive Course in Cancer Risk Assessment, Track 1, for a TBD maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

City of Hope designates this Intensive Course in Cancer Risk Assessment, Track 2,  for a TBD maximum of  AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The following may apply CME Category 1 credit for license renewal:

Registered Nurses: Nurses may report up to a TBD AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) for Track 1 and up to a TBD AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for Track 2 toward the continuing education requirements for license renewal by their state Board of Registered Nurses (BRN). CME may be noted on the license renewal application in lieu of a BRN provider number.

Physician’s Assistants: The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants states that AMA accredited Category 1 courses are acceptable for CME requirements for recertification. They may report up to a TBD AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™  for Track 1 and up to a TBD AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) for Track 2.

Genetic Counselor CEUs: The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized City of Hope to offer up to a TBD CEUs or 111 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)for the activity Intensive Course in Cancer Risk Assessment - Track 1.    

The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized City of Hope to offer up to a TBD CEUs or TBD AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)for the activity Intensive Course in Cancer Risk Assessment - Track 2.

The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of genetic counselor certification and recertification.
