Elesyia Outlaw-Evans, M.D., is a radiation oncology specialist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Atlanta , where she collaborates with patients, their loved ones and their multidisciplinary cancer care team to offer leading-edge radiation therapy treatments for a wide range of cancer types.
Dr. Outlaw-Evans, who previously held positions at City of Hope locations in Arizona and Oklahoma, has extensive experience in intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy, robotic radiosurgery, stereotactic radiation therapy and hypo-fractionated radiation therapy. Her goal as a clinician is to partner with patients throughout their cancer journeys and take their own health needs and goals into account when crafting a personalized care plan.
After earning her medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri, Dr. Outlaw-Evans completed an internal medicine internship at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in Texas. She went on to complete a residency in radiation oncology at Siteman Cancer Center at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Outlaw-Evans is a physician-researcher who has published multiple articles in leading peer-reviewed journals and has presented on her work at universities and community events around the country. A board-certified radiation oncologist, she is a member of a number of professional Organizations, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Brachytherapy Society.
